Soon after the global launch of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, Bajaj and Triumph started accepting bookings of both the bikes. The Company got a good response with 10,000 bookings in just 10 days. Triumph Speed 400, priced at Rs. 2.33 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi), was officially launched in India on July 5, accompanied by a special inaugural price of Rs. 2.23 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the first 10,000 customers. The aggressive pricing has worked well for the company, and achieving bookings of 10,000 bikes in just a small span of 10 days is no small feat.
Scrambler 400X price will be announced in 0ctober 2023. The price of Triumph Scrambler 400X is expected to be Rs 2.5 lakhs. Both motorcycles are powered by a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve motor that produces 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The single-cylinder engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which benefits from an assist and slipper clutch.
