A Recent Video by Triumph Motors shows that the first lot of Triumph Speed 400 is ready to dispatch from Bajaj Auto plant in Chakan and it will be delivered to the customers by the end of this month or first half of august. Good news for those who have booked can check with the dealership nearby for the bikes availability. The next big development is that the booking amount of Speed 400 has increased from 2000 to 10000, due to its lucrative pricing and good bookings the price has been increased to cope with the ratio of production to delivery. Bajaj is all set to launch the Scrambler 400x in october, it has to scale its production and wants to ensure that prospective buyers aren’t left with a booking any more than required. That said, Bajaj is already working on scaling up the production numbers to match the demand.
Triumph retails the all-new Speed 400 at Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and offers it in three dual-tone colour shades, Carnival Red/Phantom Black, Caspian Blue/Storm Grey and Phantom Black/Storm Grey. The motorcycle is a modern-retro roadster and is powered by a 398 cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-pot mill, mated to the 6-speed gearbox.
