Highlights of Benelli 502C

Design of Benelli 502C

The design of the Benelli 502C takes inspiration from the Ducati Diaval 1260. It has a bulky and muscular diamond-shaped fuel tank and smoothly and flawlessly curves and merges with the seat. This curve also serves as a little backrest for the rider to lean onto for more comfort during long rides. The pillion seat and backrest are plush and cosy for long rides through the city.

Whilst dull, the matte black and red colour still pops out and draws your eye. It gives the bike a premium and lavish feel, perfectly complementing its visual as an urban cruiser.

The bike is built using steel trellis frames, which are exposed and add to the bike’s aesthetic. It is also highly durable and offers comfortable ergonomics, giving the rider the utmost freedom to manoeuvre and control the bike anyway.

The slim handlebars are positioned perfectly and give the rider an easy and pleasant grip without being too strained. The tires used on the front are 120/70ZR17, and for the rear, it uses 160/60ZR17.

Colour and Variant of Benelli 502C

Benelli 502C is available in two colour options:

  • Burgudy

Benelli 502C has one variant:

Engine of Benelli 502C

The Benelli 502C is powered by a 502cc, two cylinders in line, 4-strokes, liquid cooling, and 4-valves per cylinder engine, which are BS6 compliant as well. The double overhead camshaft offers a smooth and effortless power delivery for optimum fuel consumption.

The engine delivers a max power of 46.80 bhp @ 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 46 Nm @ 6,000 rpm.

This same engine unit has also been previously used in the Leoncino 500 and TRK 502/X adventure motorcycle.

Features of Benelli 502C

The Benelli 502C incorporates an LED headlight, taillight, and indicators for improved visibility on the roads in the fog or night for you and other vehicles passing by.

The full-colour TFT digital display gives the rider all the information at a glance. It also has a sensor to switch between daytime and nighttime modes, and the layout can be changed.

The large fuel tank, at a whopping 21 litres, is more than enough for your riding adventures and lets you cruise long distances without an issue.

Transmission, Suspension, and Brakes of Benelli 502C

The Benelli 502C has a 6-speed manual transmission, chain drive, and wet multi-plate clutch.

The front suspension uses an upside-down telescopic fork and a 41mm outer tube, and the rear suspension uses a Telescopic coil spring oil damped 50 mm. These dampen the impacts when riding over humps and uneven roads, and the monoshcok does not let out even when going over the worst potholes and roads. The perk of having a firm suspension is that it lets the rider take the lead, making handling this big bike much easier on tricker paths.

As for the brakes, both wheels use Dual Channel ABS. The front disc is 280mm, and the rear disc is 240mm. It gives the Benelli 502C a strong set of brakes to support this grand bike’s weight and provide quick power stopping in any situation. The ABS also prevents the tires from slipping on the road. The clutch and brake levers are both adjustable as well.
