The new BMW R nineT models’ design follows the principle of keeping things simple. The traditional design process utilised to create the R nineT vehicles drew inspiration from the history of BMW motorsports.

The high-slung twin exhausts, made for the bike for its standard specification by Akrapovic, sit tightly up to the long, low bench seat with parallel stitched fine leather, making the Scrambler look immediately evident from the left rear approach.
The latest LED headlamps, which include daytime running lights, are now standard on the models. The Seat’s proprietary leather design gives it a vintage BMW appearance.

A 2-cylinder, 1170 cc, air/oil-cooled, 4-stroke boxer engine with two camshafts, four radially placed valves per cylinder, and a central counterbalance shaft powers the R nineT Scrambler. It can produce a unique torque output of 116 Nm at 6000 rpm and a power of 108 bhp at 7750 rpm.
BMW claims that despite having one less horsepower than the previous model, the midrange power is significantly higher and reaches its peak at 500 rpm earlier.
The updated BMW R nineT Scrambler features telescopic forks with gaiters safeguards against sand, grit, and dust.
Additionally, the gaiters protect the fork tubes from dirt for the classic Scrambler appearance.
The bike’s tank and air box cover design highlights its informal nature and makes them utterly distinctive.

The rear suspension consists of a cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with a BMW Motorrad para lever, a central spring strut, and continuously adjustable spring preload and rebounds damping on the handwheel. The front wheel suspension consists of telescopic forks with a 43 mm fixed-tube diameter.
While the rear brake has a single disc with a diameter of 10.4″ and a double-piston floating calliper, the front brake has twin-disc brakes with a diameter of 12.6″ and four-piston callipers.
A bike that can take off and accelerate like it’s been shot is good, but it won’t go very far if it can’t handle corners and react to input quickly. The R nineT Scrambler adores corners.
The fork tree area’s overall appearance: To avoid hitting dirt and vegetation when scrambling, the suspension members and compression covers have been blacked out and chromed, with a dual-level LED headlight mounted in a traditional retro chrome surround.
