Design of Ducati Panigale V2

The Ducati Panigale V2 has a clear-cut-line design known to provide power without compromising riders with classic Ducati Panigale flair.

The muscular and beefy in appearance bike consists of a single-sided aluminium swingarm, one of the most famous hallmarks of every Ducati sports bike. The fairing is the dual-layered configuration where the prime layer is known to extend in the upward direction that again mixes with the tank via sturdy struts that are two in number. The second layer of the dual-layer configuration is assigned to function as an air vent in Ducati Panigale V2.

The compact LED headlight gives the intakes themselves, especially the bike is on the stand. The bike gets the full-LED tail light at the back with two distinct parts per Ducati sports bike tradition. The tail of the Ducati Panigale V2 is made on the steel trellis subframe lined with covers made up of plastic.

The front is equipped with two large air intakes, and the dual-layer fairing design gives an aggressive look to the bike. The black coloured seat goes in contrasts with its colour, and the graphics- Ducati on the fuel tank makes it even more impressive.

Engine of Ducati Panigale V2

Ducati Panigale V2 gets powered by a 955cc superquadro L-twin cylinder, four valves, desmodromic engine and gets a bore and stroke of 100mm X 60.8 mm. The engine can produce a max power of 155 bhp at 10,750 rpm and torque of 104 Nm at 9000 rpm.

The Superquadro engine meets the Euro 5 and gets a new compact exhaust cylinder.

Features of Ducati Panigale V2

Ducati Panigale V2 has instrumentation based around a 4.3″ TFT display with graphics and an interface that is known to be inspired by Ducati Panigale V4. The modern electronics are based on a 6-axis inertial platform that checks for the bike’s roll, yaw and pitch angles.

The riding mode interface shows any changes to the settings, and the TFT display can be used to set the riding mode (Race, Sport, Street).

  • Sports ride mode provides the rider with 155 bhp that has direct sports rides.

The Panigale V2 incorporates the latest version of Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO. With the data feed from the 6D IMU, DWC keeps wheelies in check, increasing the acceleration easily and safely.

The suspension duties are performed by fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 43 mm with TiN treatment at the front. And at the rear, it’s by fully adjustable Ohlins TTX36 monoshock.
