The Ducati Scrambler 1100 boasts a powerful, robust 1079cc L-Twin air-cooled engine with a desmodromic valve system. This valve system helps in better performance and efficiency as it allows precise control over valve lifting and closing. The engine has dual spark plugs per cylinder to improve combustion and enhance the bike’s overall performance.

The engine can produce a maximum power output of 84.47 bhp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 88 Nm at 4500 rpm.

Optimising fuel consumption is done through advanced engine technology and careful tuning that allows the rider longer rides without the hassle of refuelling. The engine’s bore and stroke dimensions are 98 x 71 mm, respectively, helping the smooth delivery of acceleration at all rpm.

One of the most iconic features of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 is its sturdy chassis constructed with a tubular steel trellis frame that gives exceptional rigidity and stability. The bike has a lightweight aluminium twin-sided swingarm that enhances manoeuvrability and agility. The fully adjustable Kayaba suspension is designed for comfortable riding. The front suspension features a 45 mm fully adjustable USD fork with Marzocchi, allowing the rider to tune the suspension settings according to the riding conditions finely. The rear suspension has a Kayaba monoshock and is pre-load and rebound adjustable for smooth and controlled rear wheel damping.

The braking functions are performed by a high-performance braking system—Dual channel ABS. The front braking system has dual disc brakes with a 320 mm disc radial 4-piston calliper, while the rear braking system has a single disc brake with a 245 mm disc 1-piston floating calliper for excellent control and power stopping.
