It has a 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder, Desmodromic and liquid-cooled engine. The engine has max power of 110 bhp @ 9000 rpm and a max torque of 93 Nm @ 6500 rpm.
The bore size is 94 mm, while the stroke is 67.5 mm. The compression ratio is 12,6± 0.5 :1. It has four valves per cylinder.
The SuperSport 950 is equipped with the newest 6-axis IMU platform from Bosch, which enables features like wheelie control, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, and a bi-directional quick-shifter.
With the handlebar switching controls, hydraulic clutch adjustment with an adjustable lever, and Dual-channel Bosch Cornering ABS, the bike also has a Ducati Multimedia System displaying the chosen gear and fuel level. The bike also has an LCD instrument and a USB port in the under-seat storage area.
