Just a few days ago the company decided to close the online bookings of the X440. The company has announced a price hike of Rs 10,500 across all models. Now, the company has announced that the introductory pricing period will be coming to an end on August 03, 2023. This means, prices for all three variants will increase by Rs 10,500, which means the motorcycle will start at Rs 2,39,500, ex-showroom onwards.
The X440 was launched in collaboration with Hero Motocorp and Harley-Davidson on 3rd July, Company says it has received “an overwhelming response” for the smallest, most affordable Harley. The production of these bikes in ‘Garden Factory’ at Neemrana in Rajasthan, is at full pace looking at the good response of bookings.
While Hero hasn’t announced the opening of the next window for online bookings, the company has indicated that the price of X440 will go up when the bookings reopen. Currently, those who want to book the bike and get it at the Introduction price can book it before 3rd August on Harley website, for a token price of Rs 5000/-.
Currently the bike is launched in 3 variants. The base model is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, while the mid variant is priced at Rs 2.49 lakh and finally the top variant is priced at 2.60 lakh respectively. The bike has a 440cc oil cooled 2 valve engine. The engine churns out 27bhp power at 6000rpm, and 38Nm torque at 4000rpm.
