Honda Dio: The Reliable Moto Scooter

The relaunched Honda Dio is now available with minor changes from its older versions. The scooter now wears a sporty design, and the Honda Dio looks edgier and sharper with trendier designs and various colour options.

The new colour options contrast the body panels, and the wheels also ensure that the Honda Dio stands out. The Honda Dio has a digital infotainment screen and an LED headlight depending on the variant. The telescopic fork adds to the look as well.

The build and the finish, the positioning of the tail lamp and the angular designs ensure that the features help promote the complete sporty aesthetic that the scooter provides.

The eco indicator and the steel wheels also add to the whole ensemble of the bike. The seat length is very comfortable, even though the riders who are on the taller side find it slightly uncomfortable. The scooter also has a seat opening switch and a split grab rail.

The new Honda Dio has a fan-cooled, 4-stroke SI engine. The engine ensures a smooth ride with a displacement of 109.51 ccs and a maximum power of 7.6 PS @8000 rpm and a torque of 9 nm@ 4750 rpm.

The Honda Dio ACG starter ensures that the scooter starts without noise and has a belt drive. The Honda Dio has a bore and stroke measurement of 47.0mm and 63.1 mm, respectively.

Some of the major features of the new Honda Dio are its improved look and other minor enhancements. The Honda Dio features a tubeless tyre, and the steel metal of the wheel adds a nice edge to the sharp look. In addition to the sporty graphics, the scooter has a carved tail light and a Moto Scooter Design.

The body-mounted headlamp, which has an LED option, completes the look. The Dio has a storage space of 18 litres. The bike has a decent weight at 105 kg, and the ACG start ensures that the scooter turns on without difficulties.

The Honda Dio has a 4-in-1 lock to open the seat and a built-in mobile charging socket. The engine offers decent performance, and the affordable price ensures that the Honda Dio is worth the cost.

It has a top speed of 83 kmph, the other features and the fuel filler feature ensure that the bike goes for long rides with a 5.3 litres fuel capacity.

The Honda Dio has a decent weight of 105 kg, and the pickup is quick. It also has an engine cut-off, which is optional and a muffler protector as well.

The Honda Dio features a visible suspension in sporty red in the rear of this scooter. The Honda Dio now showcases a spring-loaded hydraulic in the front. Depending on the variant, it also has a telescopic fork in the front, which is perfect for urban rides. The suspensions help in manoeuvring, and with the Combi Brake System (CBS), the Honda Dio has perfect stability and assurance.

The Honda Dio features a drum option in the front and rear. The front brake diameter is 130mm, while the rear also has the same diameter for its drum. The moto scooter features an automatic transmission and a V- Matic transmission. The performance of the transmission and brakes is pretty decent.
