Design of Kawasaki Vulcan S

The Vulcan S has very non-traditional cruiser looks thanks to its flowing style, long and low stance, and contemporary elements like the original headlamp and cast wheels with five spoke pair design. Visually, the bike is a quintessential cruiser, with a typical cruiser stand, lazy rake angle, and forward foot pegs.

The frame, rear suspension, and swingarm are all designed to form an integrated line that runs from the front of the bike to the rear hub.

The bike appears lightweight thanks to its high-tensile steel pipe frame. 3D analysis was used in the outer design to achieve the desired rigidity and stress values,

The bike’s compact design is also a result of the way the rear suspension is set up, which makes room under the engine for a large-volume silencer.

With a seat height is 705 mm, the Vulcan S becomes more comfortable for even an average-height rider. Despite being 235kg, the low centre of gravity makes it easy to handle the bike.
