‘Kasol’ is a small village in Himachal Pradesh, located on the banks or River Parvati. It is a paradise for nature and adventure lovers. Kasol is also known as ‘Mini Israel’ due to the influence of Jewish population of the city. The location is in its peak form of beauty in the months from December to February when the mountains are covered with shining white snow. One can purchase few local items like pendant, handicraft items, semi-precious stones, from the flea market of village. The cuisine of the locality has an influence of Israeli flavors and thus food items like Pita Bread, Hummus, various dips, sauces, and many other Jewish varieties are savored in Kasol. One can have variety of food items to fill yourself up on the dhabas and restaurants available on journey towards Kasol.
