Ducati to Launch Multistrada Enduro 1260 on 9 July in Indian Markets

We have created a detailed video of the Ducati India planning to launch the Multistrada Enduro 1260 on 9 July. Watch the video below to know what makes this motorcycle special.

While the Ducati Multistrada is built in a very versatile way and has the status of tourist for adventure, it is mainly a road-oriented bike. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is primarily designed to be more naked and more hardcore when it comes to adventure.

To make the new Multistrada more accessible to a wider audience, Ducati has also reduced the seat height from 870 mm to 860 mm. There is even an option of 840 mm for the smallest runners. Apart from that, there is a 5.0 inch TFT screen that looks fabulous and works even better. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro will be the flagship Ducati ADV in India.

Reflections on the Multistrada 1260

It’s a dream machine to have for an adventure enthusiast. The bike looks great, and we are sure that the new Ducati will behave as well as its others. We look forward to seeing the bike in real life and will reveal all the details at the launch.

Engine

The biggest update that the bike has received is in the form of a new engine. The old 1198cc engine was replaced by a new 1262cc L-twin engine. The all-new Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1260 is equipped with the Testastretta DVT engine, also present on the Multistrada 1260 road variant. The engine is a 1,262 cc twin producing 158 hp at 9,500 rpm and 128 Nm of torque at 7 500 rpm. This represents a lot of power for a machine weighing 256 kg. The engine will be coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and will feature a quick selector.

Rivals

Once launched, the Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1260 will compete with the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, a motorcycle considered as the queen of the segment. Ducati will also compete with the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCX after it is in the Indian market.
