We have created a video on the bike that Revolt Intellicorp finally unveiled, full electric motorbike, RV 400. Watch the full video below to know what you can expect from the motorcycle.
Revolt Intellicorp finally unveiled India’s first full electric motorbike, RV 400. Pre-ordering will begin on June 25 with a total of Rs 1,000 that you can order through the company’s website or on Amazon. The official launch will take place next month. The first intelligent electric bike from India will be imported, while the battery management system and the ECU have been developed in-house.
And before this bike is revealed directly, here is everything we know and expect from the upcoming Revolt e-bike.
The Revolt electric bicycle is equipped with an embedded 4G SIM card that ensures connectivity when traveling. You can also install the mobile application on your Smartphone with the help that you can use to check the health of your vehicle while also carrying out several other operations. With the help of this application, someone can also start a bicycle remotely. In addition, this application will guide you to the nearest swap station. Scan the QR code at the station and you are ready to exchange the battery. Not only this, but you can even order batteries in your home with the help of this application.
Another of the most interesting features of the Revolt electric bike is that the rider can choose between several artificial sounds according to his choice for the bike to sound like a classic motorcycle engine.
In terms of design, the Revolt RV400 electric bicycle looks like a bare street fighter featuring hexagonal headlamp clusters with LED DRL. This motor also gets an upright sitting position and alloy wheels for better aesthetics.
The e-bike is likely to be equipped with an all-digital instrument panel with all the readings needed for information such as speed, distance, and battery coverage. Given that bicycles use artificial intelligence, cluster instruments can allow users to perform various other functions as well.
Another interesting feature seen in the electric bicycle Revolt is the option to adjust the exhaust record on the bicycle. Being an electric bicycle, Revolt will be rather quiet. But the motorbike will offer an artificial exhaust note, in which drivers will be able to adjust according to their preferences. From what we know, the RV400 will come with a total of four exhaust notes, including ‘Rebellion’ and ‘Roar’.
Among several main highlights, Revolt will have a number of interesting features such as the Bluetooth start / stop function, fake exhaust noise – with some exhaust notes – onboard diagnostic tools, geo-fencing tools for anti-theft, over-the-air ECU updates, etc.
On the front of the braking, the Revolt RV400 e-bike will get disc brakes at both ends and an ABS channel. Besides this; we don’t think it will come with other electronic interventions to improve driver safety.
The electric motorcycle will be powered by a lithium-ion battery that has passed many tests, including those related to performance, sealing, life cycle and penetration of nails. Although the power characteristics offered by this battery pack are still unknown, we know that the bike will return a certified ARAI range of 156.8 km in full charge.
The electric motorcycle will be offered in two colors: rebel red and cosmic black.
The revolt has not yet revealed the price of the RV 400. But it is expected to be around 1 Lakh Rs.
The competition will also come from the next Tork T6X, but it’s a matter of time when sales will be on the market.
