What's New in the Latest Model of Revolt RV400?

Highlights of Revolt RV400

Design of Revolt RV400

While most of the RV400’s design is pleasing, the large side panels, which would look more fitting on a fully-faired motorcycle, make it stand out. Being developed around the dynamics of a sport bike, the looks are all sporty.

The approach of the panels with all those lines and creases looks alive and gives the bike a plasticky feel. Nevertheless, the fitment of the RV400 is admirable.

It has a muscular tank, beefy tank attachments, and fairing surrounding components like the engine and battery. Ultimately, it operates a bolt-on subframe with a one-piece seat, providing a better riding posture with a slightly forward set stance. Its lightweight frame is suitable for agility.

The heavy-weight battery is kept high to maintain the centre of gravity so you may have confidence while cornering.

The designers at Revolt Intellicorp have designed the Revolt RV400 possessing the same traditional motorcycles in mind. At the front, mounted on the forks, is a hexagon-shaped full-LED projection with headlamps with DRL inspired by the Revolt logo.

The footpegs are adjustable, so you can adjust them per your height or comfort zone. The footpegs offer two combination sets for the footpegs- sport and cruise.

The highest ground clearance of 215 mm in the segment provides comfortable riding regardless of the riding conditions.

The ‘tank’ shrouds are sharp, while the bolt-on subframe has a svelte rear section. It also accumulates an LED tail lamp with styling cues from a typical 313cc motorcycle. The 270-degree throw of light makes the Revolt RV400’s presence worth noticing.

Colour and Variant of Revolt RV400

Revolt RV400 comes in three colour options:

  • Rebel Red
  • Mist Grey
  • Cosmic Black

The Revolt RV400 comes in one variant:

  • Revolt RV400 STD

Engine of Revolt RV400

The RV400 comes to life with a 3.24 kWh battery linked to a 5kW motor which can produce a max torque of 170 Nm. The battery takes 4.5 hours to charge fully, and as per the claims, it can give an approximate mileage of 80 km/charge.

You get different top speeds and ranges with three riding modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport).

  • For Eco mode, you can expect a top speed of around 145 kmph and a range of 150 km.
  • Normal mode’s top speed is about 65 kmph and a range of about 100 km.
  • For Sport mode, the bike can touch a top speed of around 85 kmph and a range of approximately 80 km.

Features of Revolt RV400

The RV400 gets a full-digital LCD instrument cluster with 4G connectivity. Riders can link smartphones through the Revolt app, which gives access to travel history, battery health, range, and close swap station. The app can also start the bike, set up the geofence, customise sound and receive a notification if the battery charge is low.

The electric start works to bring the bike to life with just a push of a button. The keyless remote key incorporates features like the lock, unlock, start and locate the Revolt RV400.

The geofencing and a keyless operation system are for adequate security. RV400 also gets equipped with storage space near the tank and spears near the footpeg, which works to produce faux exhaust sound.

The battery brings about 4.5 hours to charge using a 15A socket entirely. However, you can swap the battery at the Revolt Swap Station for a hassle-free ride, especially if you’re in a hurry.

The RV400 has a full-digital instrument cluster and full-LED lighting for the headlamp with a tail lamp and turn indicators.

Moreover, the company is presenting a ‘Delivery on Demand’ feature, which permits the user to have a fully-charged battery delivered to their specified place.

The Revolt presents the RV400 with an onboard and transportable battery charger and will momentarily set up battery swapping stations, known as Switch Stations.

However, the most exciting features are the imitation exhaust notes which can be changed from the app and switched on or off on the go.

Transmission, Suspension and Brakes of Revolt RV400

The Revolt RV400 features an Automatic transmission.

Upside Down Forks and Monshock adjustable suspension at the rear perform the suspension duties. The adjustable monoshock can be adjusted per the riding need and the surface, removing discomfort.

Regarding halting RV400, the braking system comprises the CBS technology that aids the front and rear disc brakes. So, you need not worry about safety.
