Finally the much anticipated Bullet 350 will be launched on 30th august, the teaser shows a glimpse of the retro Royal Enfield logo with red and yellow colour scheme and lots of chrome on it. There is audio of the typical Bullet thump. Bullet 350 is currently the only vehicle in Royal Enfield portfolio to still haven’t transitioned to the J-Series platform. The bike will share the same 349cc engine with the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and the Hunter 350. RE is expected to offer wider tyres and better brakes with the new gen Bullet to improve the stability of the motorcycle. Royal Enfield is then king in the retro classic segment, with honda, yezdi, jawa coming in the competition, Royal enfield is always in the top and with new launches RE is not leaving any corner or any chances to be left behind. This model will be Rs 10000 expensive then the current model, reason being the bike will get new updates like digital console, bluetooth connectivity and few more features to keep it modern and ahead from the rivals. What will be interesting to see is the pricing and placement of the Bullet. Before the Hunter came around last year, the Bullet was the entry-point to the Royal Enfield line-up, offering the most affordable price tag and most basic feature-set. With the Hunter (starting at Rs 1.5 lakh) now occupying the entry-level spot, it is even more affordable than the present Bullet. The Classic, meanwhile, starts at Rs 1.93 lakh, leaving a large gap in the middle. It remains to be seen exactly where in this gap Royal Enfield will place the updated Bullet.
