Royal Enfield is all set to launch a 450cc power cruiser in 2025. The motorcycle code name is K1D, which will be inspired by the Ducati Diavel. Also Himalayan 450, hunter 450 test bikes have been seen around testing, we will soon see a set of new 450cc bikes by RE.
Royal Enfield’s new 450cc power cruiser doesn’t look like anything we have seen from the brand to date. The bike has a steep rake angle, swept-back handlebars and a low seat, offering a relaxed riding position. Also visible in the image is a short tail section, a twin-can exhaust and a rear tyre hugger.
It is likely to deliver around 40 BHP and 45 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the power cruiser is likely to offer similar technology to the Himalayan 450, including a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and a slipper clutch. We hope it brings a large fuel tank. Probably 20L to 25L would be nice. Similar to the Thunderbird range of the past. Componentry could include USD front forks similar to Himalayan 450, rear mono-shock unit, alloy wheels, fat tyres, and more. The price of the bike will be between Rs. 2.8 lakhs to Rs. 3.0 lakhs.
