Powering the TVS iQube is a 4.4kW electric hub motor that generates a peak torque of 140Nm. The powertrain gets fed by a 2.25 KWh three lithium-ion battery pack which gives a range of 75 km and takes seven hours to get fully charged. The battery pack comes encased in a dust- and water-proof high-strength aluminium casing.
The scooter has two riding modes—Eco and Sport. The maximum speed in the Eco mode gets capped to 40kmph (for a better range). TVS iQube accomplishes a max speed of 78kmph in Sport mode, with acceleration from rest to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds.
The suspension system of iQube comprises telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic twin-tube shock absorbers at the rear. However, the braking system encompasses a 220mm front disc and 130mm drum brakes at the rear. The curb weight of the scooter is 118 kg, and the loading or carrying capacity is 130 kg.
The scooter’s design gets a bit simple and conventional yet extraordinarily stylish, contemporary, and spectacular. The electric vehicle is available in one variant and one colour- white with a dash of black in some key areas.
The LED headlamp, combined with side indicator lights that go all the way to the side, is located just a few inches above the mudguard. Above it, a blue and white logo of iQube gets fitted.
The head features a one-of-its-kind U-shaped LED daytime running lamp and a black visor. It gets a white logo of TVS printed below it. Between the handles, a pair of magnificent rearview mirrors get fitted.
The floor space provides enough legroom for an average-sized rider, and towards the end is a pair of footrests. The charging point is situated just below the front seat, and the battery gets placed under the boot, which gives a little space for the safekeeping of a few extra belongings.
The scooter comes with a pair of 12-inch alloy wheels. The front gets equipped with a 220mm disc brake, and the rear gets fitted with a 130mm drum brake.
The TVS iQube comes in one variant- the iQube Electric STD and is available in only one white colour.
