Vespa SXL 150—A Super Modified Scooter

The overall look of the Vespa SXL 150 is structured beautifully and has a strong appearance—besides a minor difference from the front, SXL 150 look similar to other Vespa scooters. The Vespa SXL BS6 has maintained old-school styling qualities in the model, carrying the design of 60s scooters. The curvy body panels and the attractive colours make it more appealing.

The Vespa SXL 150 has a comfortable riding position with a single seat. The additional pillion footrest and grabrail add more value.

The rectangular headlamp adds to the chic style, and the handlebar is wide enough to provide a comfortable riding position and has rectangular mirrors mounted on it.

The model is fulfilled by a secure storage box up at the front, which can easily take in small things such as portable phones and other food items. The under-seat container is sufficient to keep a helmet in the scooter.

The Vespa SXL 150 offers three variants:

The Vespa SXL 150 incorporates a 149.5cc, SOHC 3-Valve, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, and BS6 engine.

The engine can generate a max power of 10.64 bhp at 7100 rpm and a peak torque of 11.26 Nm at 5300 rpm, which gives excellent performance.

The Vespa SXL 150 features a rectangular LED headlight, and the tail light and turn signal lamp consist of bulbs. So, with a precise lighting system, you get clear visibility even in the dark.

The scooter has a USB charging port that lets you charge your phone on the go.

The all-new Vespa SXL 150 has multiple features, like a semi-digital instrument cluster with a digital fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter and analogue speedometer. These all together help you get updated with real-time riding information.

There’s also under-seat storage with under seat light (automatic boot lamp), which helps to carry things easily. Additionally, you get a conveniently located bag hook and a lockable glove box.

The monocoque chassis incorporates 372 robotic welds, which offers structural support and resilience.

The Vespa SXL BS6 gets a CVT transmission type that resumes an automatic gear-shifting pattern.

The aircraft-inspired with anti-dive characteristics performs the front suspension tasks and a dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber with four adjustable positions at the rear suspension, which helps in effortless riding.

For better command over the scooter, the braking responsibilities get handled by a single-channel ABS braking system. The front brakes are handled by 200 mm disc brakes and 140 mm drum brakes at the rear.
