The hill station is famous for its hard candy also known as ‘chikki’, is a sweet delicacy loved by all. It’s a biker’s paradise as the route encompasses many ghats and valleys in it. The bikers enjoy the route to Lonavala as it is a smooth and a non-exhausting one. Being a hill station the place becomes a beautiful gradient during heavy downpour. The route also crosses the beautiful hill station,Khandala, which one should also pay a visit while journey towards Lonavala. The Khandala ghats are the demanding stretch of route which rider should take care of.

There are many cost friendly residencies, lodges, and hotels with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options too. It is advisable to drive carefully at night time as the highway has no proper street lights and it’s a hilly way too. A biker must ensure that the headlamps of the bikes are in a proper working condition along with the fog lamps for foggy routes.
