YAMAHA FZ S FI Beefier & Sportier Street Style Gets Better than Ever

The new FZS FI model mounts a single-cylinder fuel-injected engine. It’s an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve blue core engine making it the finest artwork of the Yamaha FZ series.

The motorcycle gets equipped with an engine setting that is well optimised to add a superior feeling and an exhilarating feeling while overtaking.

The engine’s output is 12.4PS, 0.8PS less than the older version. However, the torque gets raised by 0.8Nm, so it’s 13.6Nm.

The bike weighs about 137 kgs with a revised engine setting and a fuel tank capacity of 13 L, making FZS FI more industrious.

The power to the motor get sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drive. The bike provides excellent shock-absorbing technology and a comfortable feel with a firm grip while braking.

From a design point of view, the new FZS-FI portrays a LED headlamp that recollects the charming looks of M-Slaz, sold in South East Asian markets.

Compared to the previous iteration, the bike looks a bit beefier with the new tank extension.

The comfortable two-level seat offers an excellent fit feeling, added with the cushioning, which delivers an upright riding position.

With that, Yamaha FZS FI gets a shiny chrome plating only to a selected part, making the look premium exclusive like an enhanced street presence.

The all-new LED headlight provides excellent visibility during the nighttime, as it uses a reflector displaying the correct light projection.

Last but not least is the newly designed muffler protector, a significant contributor to its sharp and impressive looks.

With the bike’s negative LCD instrument console, the rider gets all the information readily displayed. Information like: an F-trip and a clock, fuel gauge, odometer, two trip metres can get easily readable.

In addition, the much-needed feature of the ECO indicator gets added to guide riders with throttle modulation, leading to extracting more fuel efficiency from the engine.

The claimed ARAI mileage of the bike gets 55.42 km/l.
